We're in South Carolina

Wednesday, April 7th 2010 - The team has arrived in South Carolina. While we are taking some great photos, we've left the card reader at home. We'll see what we can do for pictures, but we'll try to let everyone know what's going on without pictures. It might take 1,000 words, but we'll see what we can do.

We've got a great parking spot set up for the event. We're on asphault instead of sticky red Carolina clay. We have a great view of the rest of the competition, and a gorgeous view out the back of the trailer. Because of a change in the rules we won't have to wait in the hot sun for hours for tech inspection. Instead, we will spend Thursday going through our engine inspection (which starts at 1PM), then we should have the rest of the day off. Of course, we didn't realize this until 11:30 Wednesday night, so I'll have to break the news to everyone over breakfast at 6:30 AM Thursday! Stay tuned for everyone's thoughts on that. I'll try to take some pictures.
